Administrative Assistant

Maria Filippova started working at CERN in 2008 as a quality assurance assistant at the Compact LInear Collider (CLIC) study. She was a responsible for the radio-frequency components such as x-band splitters, bi-directional couplers, high-power loads (procurement, contract follow-up, fabrication, qualification tests).

Maria joined the CERN Accelerator School (CAS) team as administrative assistant in 2018. She helps with organising the CAS courses including the registration follow-up of participants and the travel arrangment of lecturers. In addition, she is an editor of publications of the CAS course books in accordance with established formatting standards.

Education: Master in applied mathematics and informatics with the specialization “Theory of probability and mathematical statistics”; Mathematics and computer science teacher at school.
