The history of accelerators at CERN is exceptional, with the organisation currently operating the largest and most powerful collider in the world.
In 1983, CERN established the CERN Accelerator School - CAS to "gather and share knowledge on accelerator science".
Over the past 41 years, the school has played a pivotal role in transferring knowledge related to accelerator physics and associated technologies.
CERN is marking its 70th anniversary with a live event.
