Topical courses

The topical courses are fundamental because they cover major topics in depth, with state-of-the-art presentations and hands-on courses.

Adapting the courses to the most recent technologies has been the primary signature of the school. That is why, in 1984, the first course was a topical one.
Accelerator physics is a field that requires a comprehensive understanding of different topics. Some of these topics are rapidly advancing due to technology, so it's crucial to stay informed, share specialised knowledge, and keep pushing the limits of technology.

Every year CAS organises up to two topical courses by year.
